Olivia Harris, DVM, Residency Trained in Anesthesia & Analgesia, is a veterinarian at MedVet Indianapolis, where she has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Harris earned her Bachelor of Science in animal science from the University of Minnesota, St. Paul, Minnesota. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, also from the University of Minnesota, St. Paul, Minnesota.
Following veterinary school, Dr. Harris completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at WestVet in Boise, Idaho. She then completed her residency in Anesthesia & Analgesia at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. Her residency training was preceded by an additional residency position at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin.
Dr. Harris has received numerous honors and awards, including the 2021 ACVIM Certificate of Clinical Excellence, the 2021 Paglarini Yates Scholarship, induction into the 2021 Society of Phi Zeta, the Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine, and the 2020 Zoetis Veterinary Student Scholarship Award, all from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
She is driven by her passion for being able to provide comfort for patients during vulnerable periods of time. Dr. Harris looks forward to working closely with pet owners and professional colleagues to ensure each patient receives compassionate, state-of-the-art anesthetic care.
Dr. Harris is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
