Whitney Palmer, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Neurology & Neurosurgery at MedVet Chicago. She has been a part of our team since 2026.
Dr. Palmer earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Denver. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. Following graduation, she completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.
Dr. Palmer is passionate about building connections with clients and other members of each pet’s care team. Outside of work, she enjoys dog training and bringing her golden retriever to places where he can go swimming. She also has a strong interest in veterinary sports medicine and rehabilitation.
