Dr. Allinger earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ, before going on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ.
She then completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Veterinary Referral Associates in Gaithersburg, MD, followed by a specialty internship in Interventional Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania Ryan Veterinary Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Allinger maintains particular clinical interests in cardiac emergencies, cardiac neoplasia, and interventional cardiovascular procedures. She is passionate about forming partnerships with pet parents to work as a team in managing and treating their beloved furry family members.
When not caring for patients, she enjoys being outdoors, going for walks and hikes, gardening, and spending time with friends and family, including her cat Loki.
