Hailey Slone, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Northern Utah, where she has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Slone attended Weber State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Although she enjoys all aspects of emergency veterinary medicine, Dr. Slone is especially drawn to the fast-paced and ever-changing nature of emergency medicine, where each case presents a new challenge and opportunity to learn. She has particular interests in cardiology and internal medicine and enjoys working through complex cases to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes. One of her favorite parts of the veterinary profession is supporting pet owners during stressful situations, helping them better understand their pet’s condition, and strengthening the human-animal bond.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Hailey Slone enjoys camping, hiking, horseback riding, paddleboarding, and traveling. She also enjoys spending time with her pets and appreciates quieter days at home to relax and recharge.
