Jessica DuVall, DVM
Emergency Medicine Veterinarian
Jessica DuVall, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Toledo, where she has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. DuVall attended Virginia Tech, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal and poultry science. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. DuVall has co-authored research published in Behavioural Brain Research examining the role of protein SUMOylation in fear memory formation.
Although she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, Dr. DuVall has particular interests in emergency medicine, exotic and wildlife medicine, Fear Free care, and spectrum of care. One of her favorite parts of the veterinary profession is partnering with pet owners to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of both patients and their families. She values educating clients about available treatment options while helping them make informed decisions that align with their goals and circumstances.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Jessica DuVall enjoys boating, jet skiing, off-roading, and playing the ukulele.
