Adam L. Stretch, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Asheville, where he has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Stretch attended the University of Findlay, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science. He then earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine.
Although he enjoys all aspects of emergency veterinary medicine, Dr. Stretch is especially passionate about supporting pets and their families during some of their most challenging moments. One of his favorite parts of the veterinary profession is helping provide answers, solutions, and peace of mind when families need it most. He values the opportunity to guide clients through difficult situations while advocating for the wellbeing of their beloved companions.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Adam Stretch enjoys discovering new restaurants with his wife, staying active through weightlifting, and pursuing personal and professional goals. He is also an avid dog lover who shares his home with two cats, Bruno and Birdie.
