Alexys Wang, VMD, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Campbell and MedVet Mountain View, where she has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Wang attended the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular environmental biology with a concentration in animal health and behavior. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, where she obtained her Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) degree.
Although she enjoys all aspects of emergency veterinary medicine, Dr. Wang especially appreciates the unique blend of problem-solving, critical thinking, and compassion that each patient requires. She enjoys helping clients navigate complex medical situations and finds it deeply rewarding to support both pets and their families during challenging times. One of her favorite parts of the veterinary profession is witnessing the strength of the human-animal bond and helping preserve that connection through thoughtful, individualized care.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Alexys Wang enjoys exploring new restaurants and cafés, hiking, strength training, traveling, and walking through new cities. She also enjoys making matcha at home and embracing the small daily routines that help her recharge.
