Esther Kwak, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Indianapolis, where she has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Kwak attended the University of Michigan, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, health, and society. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Although she enjoys all aspects of emergency veterinary medicine, Dr. Kwak especially values the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with pet owners while supporting patients and their families during challenging times. One of her favorite parts of the veterinary profession is providing guidance, compassion, and reassurance when pets need care most.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Esther Kwak enjoys traveling and exploring new places, including revisiting some of her favorite cities such as Chicago, New York, Seattle, and Seoul. She also enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, making it a priority to stay connected despite living in different parts of the country.
