Anderson “Ande” Harris, DVM, is a Veterinary Intern at MedVet Chicago, where she has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Harris attended the University of Missouri, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition and exercise physiology with a minor in biology. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Harris enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and has a particular interest in Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is excited to explore a variety of specialties throughout her internship while building on her passion for helping both animals and the people who love them. One of her favorite parts of the veterinary profession is the diversity of patients, clients, and colleagues she encounters each day and the opportunity to work alongside others who share a love for animals.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Ande Harris enjoys exploring Chicago and discovering new restaurants throughout the city. An avid runner, she completed her first marathon in 2025. She also enjoys crafting, hosting gatherings with family and friends, and spending time with her boyfriend, Brice, and their two dogs, Lemon and Zelda.
