Dr. Whalin attended The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in animal sciences. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Whalin is also Fear Free Certified®, reflecting her commitment to reducing stress and anxiety for patients during their veterinary visits.

Although she enjoys all aspects of emergency veterinary medicine, Dr. Whalin values using available diagnostic information to help guide patient care and support pets in feeling better. One of her favorite parts of the veterinary profession is helping patients through urgent medical concerns while supporting the families who love them.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Megan Whalin enjoys gardening, going on walks with her dog, Phoebe, spending time with family, and traveling. She also enjoys cross-stitching, games, and staying active through horseback riding, swimming, and tennis.
