Alyssa Manganelli, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Northern Virginia, where she has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Manganelli attended Virginia Tech, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in animal and poultry science. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Although she enjoys all aspects of emergency veterinary medicine, Dr. Manganelli has particular interests in emergency surgery and laceration repair. She is passionate about helping pets receive timely care while guiding their families through complex and often emotional situations with clarity and compassion. One of her favorite parts of the veterinary profession is being able to support both patients and their families when it matters most.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Alyssa Manganelli enjoys hiking, reading, SCUBA diving, and spending time with friends, family, and her two cats.
