Eleni Damianides, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Northern Virginia, where she began caring for patients in 2025.
Dr. Eleni Damianides earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre arts from Loyola Marymount University. She then completed a post-baccalaureate veterinary program at the University of Southern California before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Damianides has special interests in cardiology, emergency medicine, reptile care and conservation, and soft tissue surgery. Her favorite part of the veterinary profession is being able to support clients on some of their most difficult days, offering both medical knowledge and a calming presence when they need it most.
When not at the hospital, Dr. Eleni Damianides enjoys spending time with her husband and their many pets, which include cats, dogs, and reptiles. She is especially passionate about reptile care and devotes much of her free time to caring for tortoises. She also enjoys gardening and horseback riding.
