Cristina Mastromonaco, DVM, MS, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Dallas, where she began caring for patients in 2025.
Dr. Cristina Mastromonaco earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal biology from McGill University. She went on to earn a Master of Science degree in anatomical pathology from St. George’s University and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Mastromonaco enjoys the dynamic nature of emergency medicine and the opportunity to work through complex medical challenges. She values the variety that comes with each day and appreciates how emergency care draws upon every area of veterinary medicine. Her favorite part of the profession is building meaningful relationships with pet families based on trust and compassion while working together to help their companions.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Cristina Mastromonaco enjoys attending live music events, cheering on her favorite hockey team, the Montreal Canadiens, and spending time with her two dogs, Ronin and Raina. She also enjoys crocheting, knitting, and reading.
