Sierrah Travis, DVM, MS, is residency trained in Internal Medicine at MedVet Silicon Valley, where she has been part of the team since 2025.
Dr. Sierrah Travis earned a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral biology with a minor in Spanish language for the professions from Johns Hopkins University. She then earned both her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and a Master’s degree in biomedical and veterinary sciences from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Following her graduate studies, she completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at Veterinary Referral Associates and a residency in internal medicine at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Travis has special interests in chronic kidney disease, endocrine disease, immune-mediated disease, and infectious disease. She has also contributed to veterinary research in internal medicine. Her favorite part of the veterinary profession is providing medical care to pets while offering knowledge, reassurance, and support to their families.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Sierrah Travis enjoys dancing, playing basketball, soccer, and tennis, and spending time on the water. She also loves music, poetry, travel, and sharing great food with family and friends.
