Marina Manashirova, DVM, Diplomate, ACVS (Small Animal), is a Board-certified Veterinary Surgeon at MedVet Atlanta, where she began caring for patients in 2025.
Dr. Marina Manashirova earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from College Misericordia and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She went on to complete a rotating medicine and surgery internship at Purdue University and a surgery internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Manashirova then completed a residency in surgery at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.
Her clinical interests include wound management, thoracic surgery, reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery, and surgical oncology. She has authored publications in the Journal of the American Animal Hospital Association and in the textbook Small Animal Soft Tissue Surgery. One of Dr. Manashirova’s favorite parts of the veterinary profession is improving the quality of life of her patients and their families.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Marina Manashirova enjoys spending time with family and friends and participating in activities on the water.
