Dalal Hares, DVM, Practice Limited to Diagnostic Imaging

Dalal Hares, DVM, is a veterinarian who is Practice Limited to Diagnostic Imaging at MedVet Silicon Valley, where she began caring for patients in 2025.

Dr. Dalal Hares earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from the University of Florida and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, she completed a small animal rotating internship at Coral Springs Animal Hospital and a surgery internship at BluePearl in Michigan. She then pursued and completed a residency in radiology at VitalRads Veterinary Imaging Specialists.

During veterinary school, Dr. Hares developed a love of anatomy and orthopedics, which led her to initially pursue surgical training. After spending five years in emergency medicine and gaining more experience with ultrasound, she discovered her passion for diagnostic imaging. Within diagnostic imaging, her special interests include cross-sectional imaging (CT/MRI) and orthopedic imaging. She has also authored a peer-reviewed publication in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association on chloramphenicol-induced neuropathy. One of Dr. Hares’ favorite parts of the veterinary profession is helping pets heal and return home to the families who love them.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Dalal Hares enjoys creating ceramics inspired by the ocean, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, and cycling. She is married and shares her life with her American Eskimo dog.
