Pre-operative and Conservative Management of Fractures
Course Description
This non-interactive distance (On Demand) medical program for veterinarians and veterinary technicians will focus on the general approach, diagnosis, stabilization, and splinting of fractures. The program will review how to best prepare patients prior to surgery, coaptation techniques, and which patients are eligible for management entirely with coaptation. In addition, case presentations will demonstrate the techniques and management strategies that are featured. Key components of conversations with pet’s families regarding fracture management will also be highlighted.
