Trish E. Paulos, DVM, MS, Diplomate, ACVIM (Oncology), is a Board-Certified Veterinary Oncologist at MedVet Salt Lake City, where she has been part of the team since 2025.

Dr. Paulos earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography from the University of Utah. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Clinical Science degree from Colorado State University. Following veterinary school, she completed an internship in rotating medicine and surgery at Artemis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Services, an internship in surgery at Sierra Veterinary Specialists, an internship in medical oncology at The Animal Medical Center in New York City, and an internship in combined medical and surgical oncology at VCA Canada Mississauga-Oakville. Dr. Paulos then completed a residency in Medical Oncology at Colorado State University.

Her special interests include hospice and palliative care, oncology, pain management, quality of life support, and the human-animal bond. Dr. Paulos is passionate about helping families gain more time with their beloved pets while ensuring each patient lives with dignity and comfort throughout their care. In addition to her clinical work, she has authored publications on soft tissue sarcoma and metastatic nasal adenocarcinoma.

When not treating patients, Dr. Trish Paulos enjoys aerial dance, rock climbing, and roller derby.
