Courtney O’Connor, DVM, is a veterinarian who is Residency Trained in Emergency & Critical Care at MedVet Dallas, where she has been a part of the team since 2025.

Dr. O’Connor earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Oklahoma State University. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, she completed an internship in Critical Care at Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists, followed by a residency in Small Animal Emergency & Critical Care at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital.

Her special interests include CPR with post-resuscitation care, sepsis, transfusion medicine, and trauma. Dr. O’Connor is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality critical care and is dedicated to advocating for both her patients and their families. She finds great fulfillment in supporting the human-animal bond, helping critically ill patients recover, and reuniting them with their loved ones.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Courtney O’Connor enjoys traveling and spending time with friends, family, and her beloved dogs.
