Alexa Danner, DVM, MS, Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Surgeons (Small Animal), is a Board-certified Veterinary Surgeon who joined MedVet Mountain View in 2025.
Dr. Danner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science, a Master of Science degree in animal biology, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, she completed a surgery internship at WestVet and a second surgery internship at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a residency in Surgery at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Her special interests include arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgery, and orthopedic surgery. She is passionate about using advanced surgical techniques to reduce discomfort, speed recovery, and help pets return to doing the things they love. Dr. Alexa Danner finds it especially rewarding to be part of each patient’s journey back to an active, happy life with their family.
