Alex Politis, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Commerce and MedVet Toledo. He joined the MedVet team in 2025.
Dr. Alex Politis earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from the University of Michigan. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Politis has a special interest in Critical Care, Internal Medicine, and Surgery. He is especially drawn to the fast-paced environment of Emergency Medicine and values the trust pet owners place in him during some of their most stressful moments. He is committed to working closely with families to create thoughtful care plans that support each pet’s unique needs.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Alex Politis enjoys hiking, playing hockey, and relaxing with a good book.
