Tyler Chipps, DVM
Tyler Chipps, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Surgery at MedVet Chicago, where he began caring for patients in 2025.
Dr. Tyler Chipps earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science and nutrition from West Virginia University. He then obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, Dr. Chipps completed a rotating small animal medicine and surgery internship at VCA Aurora.
Dr. Chipps has a special interest in minimally invasive, orthopedic, and soft tissue surgery. He enjoys working collaboratively with his team to provide thoughtful, tailored care for every pet he sees.
When not at our hospital, Dr. Tyler Chipps enjoys attending stand-up comedy shows, skiing, and playing video games.
