Taylor A. Traxler, DVM, is a Veterinary Intern at WestVet Boise, where she joined the team in 2025.
Dr. Taylor Traxler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in aquatic biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Traxler has special interests in Cardiology and Surgery and is passionate about expanding access to veterinary care. She is dedicated to delivering tailored treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient while fostering strong relationships between pets and their families.
Outside of the veterinary profession, Dr. Taylor Traxler enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking, swimming, and playing disc golf. She also cherishes time with her partner and their adopted dog.
