Haley G. Shaw, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Asheville, where she joined the team in 2025.
Dr. Haley Shaw earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from Louisiana State University. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Shaw has special interests in Emergency Medicine, emergency surgery, and ultrasonography. She enjoys the fast-paced, dynamic environment of emergency care and is passionate about helping pets in critical situations. Dr. Shaw is committed to delivering attentive and empathetic care while guiding pet parents through urgent medical decisions with confidence and compassion.
Outside of the veterinary profession, Dr. Haley Shaw enjoys staying active and balanced and finds joy hiking and exploring nature, engaging in soccer, and unwinding with a good book.
