Alexis Thomas, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Cincinnati, where she joined the team in 2025.
Dr. Alexis Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Louisville. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated Cum Laude.
Dr. Thomas has special interests in Critical Care, transfusion medicine, and supporting pets with multiple traumatic injuries. She is passionate about providing attentive and skilled care to pets with complex medical needs. Additionally, Dr. Thomas is dedicated to reducing fear and anxiety in her patients, utilizing techniques that promote comfort and trust during their medical visits.
Outside of the veterinary profession, Dr. Alexis Thomas enjoys staying active and balanced through painting, reading, and running, appreciating creative and energizing outlets that allow her to recharge and bring joy to her daily life.
