Jacqueline K. Shook, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Diley Hill, where she joined the team in 2025.
Dr. Jacqueline Shook earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology, with a concentration in ecology and organismal biology and minors in chemistry and sustainability, from the University of Toledo. She went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Shook has special interests in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine, as well as a strong interest in both orthopedic and soft tissue surgical procedures. She enjoys the fast pace and critical thinking required in emergency care and takes pride in developing thoughtful, personalized care plans. With a compassionate and communicative approach, Dr. Shook is dedicated to improving the lives of pets and the people who love them.
Outside of the veterinary profession, Dr. Jacqueline Shook enjoys cooking, exploring local coffee shops, gardening, playing video games, reading, traveling, and working out. She also loves spending time with her two beloved cats, Ellie and Olive.
