Isabel Salinas, DVM, is a veterinarian who is Limited to the Practice of Surgery at MedVet Cincinnati where she has been a part of the team since 2025.
Dr. Salinas attended Texas A&M University College of Biomedical Science where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. Following the completion of her undergraduate studies, Dr. Salinas attended Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences where she received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She went on to complete a small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship at VCA Animal Specialty Group plus a small animal surgical internship at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center. Dr. Salinas went on to complete a small animal surgical residency at BluePearl Pet Hospital (formerly Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center).
Dr. Salinas has a special interest in advanced soft tissue surgical procedures as well as minimally invasive procedures, both soft and orthopedic. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is collaborating with a team of specialized individuals to facilitate miraculous recoveries and unite families with their pets.
When away from the hospital, Dr. Isabel Salinas enjoys outdoor adventures including camping, hiking, traveling abroad, and kayaking as well as more indoor ventures like reading, museum exploration, and game nights.
