Jordan Assenmacher, DVM, is the Medical Director at MedVet Commerce, where he has been a part of the team since 2025.
Dr. Assenmacher attended Michigan State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended Michigan State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. He then completed a yearlong small animal rotating internship at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center (PVSEC).
Dr. Assenmacher has a particular interest in emergency medicine, including stabilizing and diagnosing critically ill patients. One of his favorite parts of practicing veterinary medicine is being able to help pets and their families in their time of need.
When away from the hospital, Dr. Jordan Assenmacher enjoys spending time with his family, including his dog and horses. In addition, he likes to play sports, travel, read, and any outdoor activity.
