Zoltan Szilagyi, DVM, is a Veterinary Surgery Resident at MedVet Cincinnati, where he has been a part of the team since 2025.
Dr. Szilagyi earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. He then completed a specialty internship in veterinary surgery at the Veterinary Specialty Center, further honing his expertise.
Passionate about all aspects of veterinary surgery, Dr. Szilagyi has a particular interest in orthopedic and emergency procedures. He finds immense fulfillment in making a tangible difference in the lives of animals and their families. The bonds formed with pets and their loved ones during surgery and recovery are deeply rewarding, reinforcing his commitment to the profession. Seeing a pet thrive after a successful procedure continually inspires him to enhance his skills and provide the highest level of care.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Zoltan Szilagyi cherishes spending time with his family, especially as a father to twin boys who bring joy and energy to his life. He also enjoys biking, traveling, and staying active through various recreational activities, which help him maintain a balanced and fulfilling life.
