Stacia Volbrecht, DVM is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Chicago where she has been part of the emergency team since 2006.
Dr. Volbrecht attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
While Dr. Volbrecht enjoys all aspects of small animal emergency medicine, she has special interest in nutrition, wound care, and pediatric feline medicine. She is drawn to the fast-paced, ever-changing nature of Emergency Medicine and values the opportunity to care for a wide variety of patients. One of the most rewarding parts of her work is helping sick or injured pets recover and return home to their families.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Volbrecht enjoys traveling, working out, and baking.
