Elisabeth Alost, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Mandeville and MedVet New Orleans.
Dr. Alost attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marine biology and a minor in animal science. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. In 2021, Dr. Alost received the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Certificate of Clinical Excellence.
Dr. Elisabeth Alost has a special interest in cardiology, radiology, and exotic animal medicine. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping families and their pets live happier and healthier lives.
When not in the hospital, Dr. Alost enjoys being outdoors whether she is gardening, camping, or hiking. She also loves aquariums and keeping up with her fish tanks at home.
