Wink at Me & I’ll Wenkebach: ECG Interpretation of Anesthetized Patients

1.0 credit hour

Technicians

Course Description

This non-interactive distance (On Demand) medical program for veterinary technicians will review the use of an electrocardiogram (ECG) to monitor patients undergoing sedation and general anesthesia. It is an incredibly useful and necessary tool but can be challenging to read to the untrained eye. In addition, this course will provide an overview on the use of electrocardiograms (including their limitations), the cardiac conduction system and how it correlates to an ECG, plus arrhythmia identification and response.

Presenter: Chloe Alexander, RVT
