Course Description

This non-interactive distance (On Demand) medical program for veterinary technicians will focus on the methods currently available to measure blood pressure (BP), including various methods to measure non-invasive and invasive BP. This program will also provide an overview regarding the pros and cons of measuring non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) using Doppler and oscillometric blood pressure. In addition, this course will review the research on the accuracy of blood pressure measurement.
