Tiffany McAllister, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Atlanta, where she has been a part of the team since 2025.
Dr. McAllister earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Iowa State University before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, she completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Georgia Veterinary Specialists.
Her special interests include emergency medicine with a focus on cardiovascular emergencies, polytrauma, sepsis and septic shock, and toxicities. Dr. McAllister’s favorite part of the veterinary profession is helping clients in their time of need. She feels privileged to make a difference for pets and their families during crises and strives to stay on the cutting edge of emergency medicine. She values being a source of reassurance for families, even when she must deliver difficult news.
In addition to her veterinary career, Dr. McAllister proudly served in the Air National Guard for 21 years, first enlisting in Security Forces before commissioning to a Public Health Officer after earning her veterinary degree.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Tiffany McAllister enjoys cycling and traveling.
