Teresa M. Kaiser, DVM is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Salt Lake City where she has been a part of the team since August 2020. Dr. Kaiser earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin. She continued at the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Dr. Teresa Kaiser then completed an emergency medicine and critical care internship at the Waukesha Veterinary Referral Center.
Dr. Kaiser is especially interested in emergency medicine, emergency surgeries, polytrauma, and toxicology cases. Her favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is being able to give comfort to her patients in scary and often painful times. Whether this means taking a little extra time to let a shy kitty play with her stethoscope to get acclimated to its surroundings, or coming up with a personalized analgesic plan, her main focus is always on helping the patients feel better.
When not in the emergency room, you can most likely find Dr. Teresa Kaiser trail running. She has completed over 20 trail ultras at this point, ranging in distance from 50K to 100 milers including Utah’s own Wasatch 100. Along with running comes a passion for cooking … and eating!
