Sean Hines, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Lexington, where he has been part of the team since 2025.
Dr. Hines earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences with a minor in chemistry from Northern Illinois University. He then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine.
He has a strong interest in Emergency Medicine and Surgery, and is passionate about delivering expert, compassionate care to pets and the people who love them. His favorite part of the veterinary profession is being able to support families through difficult moments by helping the companions who bring them so much joy and comfort.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Sean Hines enjoys staying active through physical fitness and water sports such as surfing and wakeboarding. He also finds fulfillment in veterinary mission trips and relaxing with a good book whenever he gets the chance.
