Samantha Tierney, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Frisco and has been a valued member of the team since 2025.
Dr. Tierney earned her Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology with a minor in biochemistry from Texas State University and went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition, she is a RECOVER CPR Certified Basic Life Support Rescuer® and Advanced Life Support Rescuer®.
Along with emergency medicine and critical care, Dr. Samantha Tierney has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery plus exotic companion mammal medicine. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping families understand their pet’s medical condition and treatment.
