Rush Basinger, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Surgery at MedVet Cincinnati, where he began caring for patients in 2025.
Dr. Rush Basinger earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Arkansas. He went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University. Following veterinary school, Dr. Basinger completed a Rotating Medicine & Surgery Internship at Mission Veterinary Emergency and Specialty in Kansas.
Dr. Basinger’s clinical interests include minimally invasive orthopedic procedures and regenerative medicine. He is passionate about preserving the human-animal bond and is honored to help pets that serve in many roles—from beloved companions to therapy, service, and working animals.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Rush Basinger enjoys staying active through physical exercise, fishing, and gaming. He especially values time spent with his fiancée and their two pets—a Maine Coon cat and an English Labrador.
