Roileigh Ollson, BVetMed
Roileigh Ollson, BVetMed, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Surgery at MedVet Mandeville and New Orleans, where she has been contributing since 2024.
Dr. Ollson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in pre-veterinary animal science from Rutgers University and her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Royal Veterinary College. She completed a yearlong small animal rotating internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals, followed by a specialty surgery internship at Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital and Carolina Veterinary Specialists.
Dr. Ollson has special interests in fostering a collaborative approach to patient care between specialties, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and wound management. She particularly enjoys patient care and improving the quality of life for animals and their families.
Beyond her dedication to patient care, Dr. Roileigh Ollson enjoys spending time outdoors in nature, photography, watching science fiction programs, and spending time with her Labrador named Adelaide.
