Lori Lyons, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Lexington, where she has been a part of the team since 2025.
Dr. Lori Lyons began her academic journey by earning associate degrees in art and science through the Kentucky Community and Technical College System in partnership with Morehead State University. She then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture with a focus in pre-veterinary medicine from Eastern Kentucky University, followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Lyons is passionate about providing thoughtful, compassionate care to both pets and their families. She takes the time to listen, assess, and understand each pet’s unique needs, and she’s dedicated to finding the best path forward for their health and comfort. Her interests include diagnostic imaging (ultrasonography), emergency medicine, and internal medicine.
Outside of the veterinary profession, Dr. Lori Lyons enjoys baking, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.
