Kassandra A. Watson, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Jupiter, where she has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Watson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences with minors in chemistry and general business from Florida State University, graduating magna cum laude. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating cum laude.
Although interested in all aspects of emergency veterinary medicine, Dr. Watson maintains particular interests in cardiology, endoscopy, ophthalmology, and surgery. She values ongoing training in emergency preparedness and evidence-based protocols to further strengthen patient safety and response skills. One of her favorite parts of practicing emergency veterinary medicine is working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where she can make critical decisions that directly impact patient outcomes. She finds it especially rewarding to stabilize urgent patients and support pet owners during some of their most stressful moments.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Kassandra Watson enjoys running, indoor cycling, hiking, and cooking. She is especially passionate about distance running and regularly trains for long-distance races. She also enjoys traveling and dreams of one day going on an African safari to observe wildlife in their natural habitat.
