Joseph Ielapi, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine veterinarian and Medical Director at MedVet Pittsburgh where he has been part of the team since 2020. Dr. Ielapi earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from The Ohio State University. He then earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Joseph Ielapi appreciates the diversity of conditions treated in the emergency medicine setting and has a special interest in trauma cases and wound repair. His favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is the fact that every day is different. When not in the ER, Dr. Ielpai enjoys cooking, running, doing crossfit, and traveling.
