Jordan Hampel, DVM, MS, Diplomate, ACVIM (Oncology), is a Board-Certified Veterinary Oncologist at MedVet Phoenix, where she began caring for patients in 2025.

Dr. Jordan Hampel earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Augustana College and completed a semester abroad at University College Dublin. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, she completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She then returned to the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, where she completed an oncology clinical trials internship and a residency in Medical Oncology, during which she also earned a Master of Science degree.

Dr. Hampel is interested in many aspects of oncology, with a special focus on advancing immunotherapeutic strategies for cancer treatment in pets. Her favorite part of practicing in the veterinary profession is navigating new challenges each day and helping pet families understand their options to prioritize their pet’s quality of life. Dr. Hampel has also authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed publications in veterinary and clinical oncology.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Jordan Hampel enjoys staying active through hiking, going to the gym, and playing volleyball when possible.
