Jillian Hennessey, DVM, is a Veterinary Intern at MedVet Columbus, where she has been caring for patients since 2025.
Dr. Hennessey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in sports medicine from Sacred Heart University. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine.
Her special interest is in emergency and critical care, with a focus on providing urgent medical support for pets when they need it most. Dr. Hennessey’s favorite part of the veterinary profession is building meaningful connections with both pets and their families, helping them feel supported during stressful and unexpected situations.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Jillian Hennessey enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and exploring with her dog. She also loves discovering new trails, traveling to new places, and finding adventures that combine her love of animals, nature, and family.
