Grayson Clay Johnson, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Salt Lake City, where he has been part of the team since 2026.
Dr. Johnson attended Virginia Tech, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He then earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, Dr. Johnson completed an internship in rotating medicine and surgery at Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Colorado Springs.
Dr. Johnson enjoys all aspects of emergency veterinary medicine, with particular interests in critical care, trauma, and surgery. He values clear communication and working closely with pet owners during challenging and often emotional situations. One of his favorite parts of the veterinary profession is helping stabilize critically ill patients and supporting families when their pets need care most.
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Grayson Johnson enjoys spending time in the mountains and taking advantage of the outdoors. He also values time with his family, including his two dogs and two cats.
