Gloriana L. Halterman, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Phoenix, where she began caring for patients in 2025.
Dr. Gloriana Halterman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biochemistry from the University of Colorado. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated summa cum laude. Following veterinary school, Dr. Halterman completed a Rotating Medicine & Surgery Internship at Arizona Referral and Emergency Center.
Dr. Halterman has a special interest in Emergency Medicine, particularly in stabilizing polytrauma patients and managing parvoviral enteritis. She finds deep meaning in the moments when a once-critical patient recovers and is reunited with their family. For Dr. Halterman, there’s nothing more rewarding than witnessing that emotional connection—especially when the outcome once felt uncertain.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Gloriana Halterman enjoys staying active through hiking, tennis, and volleyball. She is also passionate about giving back, having provided spay/neuter, vaccination, and wellness services to Native American and underserved communities throughout the Southwest.
