Eva L. Epstein, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Emergency Medicine and Surgery at WestVet Boise, where she has been part of the team since 2025.
Dr. Epstein earned her Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture with minors in biology and chemistry from Delaware State University. She then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, Dr. Epstein completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center.
Dr. Epstein has a special interest in Emergency Medicine and Surgery. She enjoys the dynamic nature of these fields and is passionate about delivering timely, effective care when pets need it most.
Her favorite part of the veterinary profession is forming trusting relationships with pet owners and working together to restore their beloved companions’ health. Dr. Eva Epstein is dedicated to helping each patient feel like themselves again and supporting families through every step of their pet’s care.
