Emily Tucker, DVM, is a Veterinary Intern at WestVet Boise, where she joined the team in 2025.
Dr. Emily Tucker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science with a minor in French from Washington State University. She went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Tucker has a special interest in Critical Care and Internal Medicine. She is passionate about delivering thoughtful, individualized care and values the opportunity to help strengthen the human-animal bond. Dr. Tucker believes in the power of clear and compassionate communication and finds it especially rewarding to guide pet parents through important decisions regarding their pet’s wellbeing. She also enjoys the collaborative aspect of veterinary medicine and the camaraderie of working alongside fellow animal lovers.
Outside of the veterinary profession, Dr. Emily Tucker enjoys gardening, hiking with her Golden Retriever and Pomeranian mix, rearranging her furniture, and skiing.
