Ellen Weiler, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Phoenix, where she began caring for patients in 2025.
Dr. Ellen Weiler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, she completed a Rotating Medicine & Surgery Internship at VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona.
Dr. Weiler has special interests in Emergency Medicine, feline medicine, and fear-free practices. She is passionate about providing calm, compassionate care during stressful moments and works closely with pet owners to help them feel informed and empowered throughout the treatment process. Her favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is seeing the difference that clear communication and collaborative care can make—not only in a pet’s recovery, but also in the confidence and comfort of the families who love them.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Ellen Weiler enjoys reading, golfing, practicing Pilates, and exploring new restaurants. When the weather cooperates, she loves being outdoors—whether it’s hiking, spending a relaxing day by the pool, or boating on Lake Bartlett.
