Denise Grohn, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Pittsburgh, where she began caring for patients in 2025.
Dr. Denise Grohn earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Marist College and went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed an internship in equine medicine with a strong focus on sports medicine at Fairfield Equine Associates.
Dr. Grohn’s professional interests include emergency medicine, equine medicine, ophthalmology, and wound management. She especially enjoys the problem-solving aspect of veterinary care and values the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Denise Grohn enjoys long-distance running, outdoor activities, and spending time at the barn with horses.
